PARTLY
Partly true: Veritas is a real all-in-one SEO tool with a ChatGPT visibility check, but 'audited the site and planned the whole month before lunch' is an ad dressed as a day-one story
The claimOn day one of being handed a company's SEO, an AI tool called Veritas audited the site, checked whether ChatGPT mentions the brand, and planned the whole month of SEO work before lunch.
The product exists and does roughly what the caption lists. Veritas's homepage describes site audits, keyword research, rank tracking, local SEO and tracking of whether a brand shows up in ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini, with plans from $16 a month and a 7-day free trial; it also claims 5,700 or more teams use it, which we could not verify independently. Running an automated audit and getting a suggested task list in a morning is realistic for most tools in this category. The overreach is the framing. 'Planned the whole month' means the tool generated a to-do list, not a strategy that fits the business, its customers or its competitors, and someone still has to judge which tasks matter and do the work. AI visibility checks are also snapshots: answers from ChatGPT change by phrasing, location and day, so a single 'mentioned or not' result is a sample, not a measurement. The clip is built like a relatable personal video ('me letting them think I'm a genius') but ends with a sign-up link, so treat it as advertising.
What holds up
- Veritas's homepage lists audits, AI visibility tracking for ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini, and local SEO
- Plans start at $16 a month with a 7-day free trial
- Automated audits and task lists in a single morning are standard for SEO platforms
What doesn’t
- '5,700+ teams' is the company's own claim, not independently verified
- A generated task list is not a month-long strategy; a person still decides and does the work
- AI mention checks vary by prompt and day, so one result is a sample
- The video is an ad styled as a personal story
The catch
The tool can hand you a to-do list before lunch. Knowing which items move revenue for this business still takes a human who knows the customers.
How to actually do it
- Write down the 5 questions your customers actually ask before they buy
- Ask them in ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini each month and note whether your business is named
- Use a trial audit tool to list technical fixes, then pick the 3 tied to your best pages
- Track results in Google Search Console rather than the tool's own score
You can check AI visibility for free: ask ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini your customers' top 5 questions each month and log whether you're named.
