The claimOn-screen: 'My name is [creator]. 7 weeks ago I had 0 followers. I trained Claude to create my content and grew to 17K. Steal these 7 prompts.' Caption lists 7 prompts (viral trend ideas, pain to hook, 30-second Reel script, social-proof on-screen text, save-worthy carousel tips, repurposing, CTAs), says these are 'the same kinds of prompts I used to grow from 0 to 17,000 followers in 7 weeks,' and asks viewers to comment METHOD for the full growth strategy. Hashtag #claudeai.

The prompts are usable and the growth number cannot be checked. Start with the clock: this audit logged the same on-screen claim, word for word, from the same creator on Aug 17, 2026 ('7 weeks ago I had 0 followers... grew to 17K'). Ten weeks later the reel still says 7 weeks and 17K, so the number is a fixed sales line, not a live count. The sentence itself is a trend template; a different creator ran the identical structure with '25 days ago I had only 59 followers... grew to 30k' (x-ref #551). The caption also hedges: these are 'the same kinds of prompts,' not the prompts. The seven prompts are generic and nearly match #551's list in skeleton: ideas, pain points turned into 10-word hooks, a short script, repurposing into a Reel plus a 5-slide carousel, CTAs. One is weak: Claude cannot 'analyze the latest 10 viral Instagram trends' unless you give it the data or connect a search tool, so without that it will guess. The real product sits behind 'comment METHOD,' a DM funnel to a paid growth strategy, and keyword comments also boost the reel's own reach. Meta does not label or demote text just because AI wrote it; its 2026 originality rules target reposting other people's work. So AI-drafted scripts are fine. What grows an account is filming original Reels often and keeping what works.

What holds up

Read the full caption and viewed the contact sheet; the video is a short hallway dance clip with a fixed text overlay, music only, no spoken method.
Found an earlier audit entry dated Aug 17, 2026 (slug 7-weeks-ago-i-had, partly) carrying the identical '7 weeks ago, 0 followers, 17K' overlay from the same creator; the timeframe has not updated.
Compared the 7 prompts to x-ref #551: same structure and same on-screen sentence template. Web searches for the exact prompt wording found no single original source, consistent with a widely remixed template.
Checked Meta's AI labeling policy (about.fb.com, April 2024) and Instagram's April 30, 2026 originality update (TechCrunch, Tubefilter): labels apply to image, video and audio, not AI-written text; reach penalties target accounts that mainly repost others' content.

What doesn’t

The catch

The 17K-in-7-weeks number has been frozen on screen since August, so it is a sales line, not a progress report. The seven prompts are a recycled template, and the actual offer is the growth method you get by commenting METHOD.

How to actually do it

Use the caption prompts as drafting help with your real audience and topic filled in; skip prompt 1 or paste in real trend examples first.
Load a Claude Project with your best 5 to 10 posts and voice notes so drafts sound like you.
Film and post original Reels on a schedule you can keep, and track saves, shares and watch time weekly.
Do not pay for a growth method based on a follower count you cannot verify.

The prompts are free and reasonable, and Claude can genuinely speed up scripting. Follower growth still comes from original video, posting volume and doubling down on winners, none of which needs the comment-gated method.
