HOLDS UP “Six tabs, one job each” — a design-inspiration list that mostly does what it says
The claimSix sites for web-design inspiration, one job each: httpster.net for volume (“three thousand live sites”), curated.design for filters, hoverstat.es for the weird stuff, unsection.com for single sections (“four thousand”), pageflows.com for user flows, cosmos.so for keeping what you find.
This one holds up. All six sites are real and do what the slides say: Httpster's own homepage counts 3,116 sites (the “three thousand” claim is honest), Unsection advertises 4,000+ sections, Hoverstat.es literally brands itself “the home of alternative web-design,” and Cosmos is a legitimate visual-bookmarking tool. Two footnotes the slides skip: curated.design now redirects into the Craftwork marketplace (the standalone brand is gone, the inspiration library survives), and Page Flows is a paid product — $2.95 trial, then roughly $8–13 a month — so “open it when you need a flow” really means “subscribe first.” Also, Unsection gates deep browsing behind a free account. Accurate list, minor paywall omissions, nothing sold.

How to actually do it
- For a small-business site: httpster.net for overall taste, unsection.com when one section (hero, pricing, testimonials) is letting the page down
- Skip Page Flows unless you design app onboarding for a living — that's who the subscription is for
- Steal structure, not style: note WHY a hero works (one message, one action) before borrowing how it looks
