PARTLY
Partly true: Malloy Studio really makes AI motion graphics from a prompt, but the MrBeast face is borrowed and it's a paid tool
The claim'Adding motion graphics shouldn't take hours. Describe what you want. Our AI generates motion graphics you can drop straight into your video.' Image: MrBeast's face with a 'VIDEO EDITING NEWS' tag and the headline 'New AI tool is helping YouTube editors add Mr Beast style motion graphics in seconds.'
The product exists and does roughly what the post says. Malloy Studio's site describes a prompt-to-motion-graphics tool: you describe a title, callout or stat animation, it generates a template, you adjust text, colors and timing, and export a transparent WebM or MOV to drop into Premiere, Resolve, Final Cut or CapCut. Plans run $29 a month (100 AI credits and exports), $49 and $149, with 5 free template exports to try it. Two things are dressed up. First, the 'VIDEO EDITING NEWS' banner makes a company's own ad look like independent news; the post is from Malloy Studio's page and links to its own site. Second, the image is built around MrBeast's face. His style is a fair reference, but Malloy's site shows no endorsement or connection, and using a famous face this way implies one. 'In seconds' is the vendor's own phrase with no benchmark; the site itself says iterate 'in minutes'. So: a real, paid, niche tool with a misleading wrapper. For editors who do lots of lower-thirds and stat pops, it may save time. For occasional use, the built-in title templates in CapCut or Premiere's Essential Graphics may be enough.
What holds up
- Post read in the logged-in browser: Malloy Studio page, Sep 14 2026, link card to malloy.sg 'Create motion graphics without learning animation', about 8 reactions and no comments.
- malloy.sg: prompt-to-template motion graphics, editable controls, transparent WebM/MOV export up to 4K; plans $29, $49 and $149 per month with annual discounts; 5 free template exports, no card.
- The site makes no mention of MrBeast or any endorsement by him.
- Site copy says graphics are added 'in seconds' and iterated 'in minutes'; no speed benchmark is published.
What doesn’t
- Company ad labeled 'VIDEO EDITING NEWS'.
- Celebrity face used without a stated endorsement.
- 'In seconds' speed claim with no benchmark.
The catch
A real, paid motion-graphics tool. The news banner and the MrBeast face are marketing, not facts.
How to actually do it
- Use the 5 free exports to make the three graphics you use most (lower third, stat callout, title card) and time each one.
- Compare against your editor's built-in templates (Premiere Essential Graphics, CapCut text templates) before subscribing.
- If you subscribe, start monthly at $29 and cancel if you are not using most of the 100 credits.
Malloy Studio is a genuine prompt-to-motion-graphics app with a free trial and paid plans. The post borrows MrBeast's face and a news label to make an ad feel like a headline.
