BS “I don't trade anymore. It does.” — read the pinned comment
The claim“6 years of trading rules in Obsidian. I gave the whole folder to Claude. It built 7 AI agents. Each one checks a rule I used to break. I don't trade anymore. It does.” Day 1 of 10; comment “system” for the setup.
The kernel is real and worth stealing: feeding your own written trading rules to Claude so it grades every planned trade against them — discipline enforcement, journaling, rule-violation flagging — is a legitimate, genuinely good use of an LLM. The creator's own pinned comment admits that's all this is: “claude doesn't find you an edge, it enforces the one you already have.” That walkback is the evidence, because the hook claims something else entirely — “I don't trade anymore. It does.” is a fully autonomous profitable AI trading claim, presented with no broker statements, no track record, no live P&L, while sister videos on the account escalate the same fantasy (“7 ai agents run my prop account... closed in profit, hands-free”). Reality checks the funnel skips: an LLM has no market edge and hallucinates under ambiguity; backtest results routinely evaporate live on overfitting, slippage and fills; prop firms broadly prohibit unattended automated trading on funded accounts; and selling a “profitable auto-trading system” without registration walks into CFTC/SEC territory every one of these funnels dodges by never showing statements. Standing audit pattern: in AI-trading content, the money is made selling the system, not running it.
What holds up
- Using Claude to enforce your own written trading rules — pre-trade checklists, violation flagging, journaling — is a real and genuinely good workflow
- The creator's own pinned comment confirms the honest version: “claude doesn't find you an edge, it enforces the one you already have”
- Turning 6 years of Obsidian notes into agent instructions is technically plausible — that part isn't the lie
What doesn't
- The hook claims autonomous profitable trading (“I don't trade anymore. It does.”) with zero performance evidence — no statements, no P&L, no account
- The creator retracts the hook in his own comments while gating a lead magnet behind “comment system”
- Sister videos escalate the fantasy — “7 ai agents run my prop account... hands-free” — when prop-firm terms broadly prohibit unattended third-party automation on funded accounts
- An LLM has no market edge and hallucinates under ambiguity — rule-checking and alpha are different jobs
- Backtest-to-live decay (overfitting, slippage, fills, regime change) is the oldest failure mode in retail algo trading and goes unmentioned
- Selling a profitable auto-trading “system” without registration is the regulatory line these funnels dodge by never showing a statement
The catch
The pinned comment is the confession — the video sells a robot that trades for you, the comments admit it's a checklist that nags you, and the “system” link is where those two stories get monetized.
How to actually do it
- Steal the real system hiding in the video: feed Claude your written rules and have it grade every planned trade against them BEFORE you click — a trading conscience, not a trader
- Journal every violation it catches; the value is in enforcement of your edge, not discovery of a new one
- Never wire autonomy to real money on a language model's judgment — and check your prop firm's terms before automating anything on a funded account
- One question kills any AI-trading post: show me the broker statement. No statement, no story
A real discipline tool sold as a money robot — the honest version needs no funnel, no autonomy, and no belief that Claude found you an edge.
