BS
Straight BS: a red-carpet clip of OpenAI's CEO captioned 'GPT-6 Astra will make more millionaires than the internet did in 1993' is a funnel; he doesn't say it, and '$50-70K a month in 1-2 hours a day' comes with no proof
The claimOn-screen text over a red-carpet interview clip of Sam Altman: 'GPT-6 Astra will make more millionaires in the last few months of 2026 than the internet did in 1993. Here are 7 ways ordinary people are cash flowing with Astra right now.' Caption lists AI UGC (one person '2.6B organic views'), 3D walkthroughs, faceless YouTube ('70k/yr'), reputation management, audiobooks, print-on-demand, and 'AI marketing' for local businesses at '1.5k/mo' per client, ending: 'I started this on the side as a mortgage loan officer on 53k/yr. Today it cash flows 50-70K/mo on 1-2 hrs/day.' Comment FREEDOM for the blueprint.
GPT-6 Astra is a real OpenAI model, released in early September 2026, and some of the seven ideas are real kinds of work. That is where the truth ends. The video is a silent loop of Sam Altman being interviewed on a red carpet at a science awards event; the 'more millionaires than the internet did in 1993' line is the page's own overlay text placed over his face, not something he says in the clip. Several numbers are attached to unnamed people with nothing to check: '2.6 billion organic views' from 62 campaigns, a channel making '70k a year'. The headline income, a former loan officer now making 50 to 70 thousand dollars a month in one to two hours a day, comes with no business name, client, invoice or screenshot, and ends in 'comment FREEDOM and I'll DM you the blueprint', which is the standard set-up for a course or coaching sale. 'Astra launched barely a month ago and this window won't be open forever' is manufactured urgency. Agencies that set up AI receptionists and follow-up for local businesses do exist and can charge monthly, but it is a sales job with churn, not a 1-2 hour side income.
What holds up
- Reel read frame by frame (4x4 contact sheet); no speech, music only. The quote is burned-in text over a red-carpet interview clip, not audio.
- GPT-6 Astra confirmed as a real OpenAI release (Sep 3, 2026) in prior audit entries (#306 and later).
- No business name, client, revenue proof or identity is given for any of the income figures; the call to action is a 'comment FREEDOM' DM funnel.
What doesn’t
- Puts words over a real CEO's face that he does not say in the clip.
- Unverifiable income claim ($50-70K/mo on 1-2 hrs/day).
- False urgency ('this window won't be open forever').
- DM-funnel for a 'blueprint'.
The catch
A real model plus a famous face plus a made-up quote is the funnel. The local AI-services business is real; the hours and the income are not shown.
How to actually do it
- If local AI services interest you, price it as a sales and support business: count the hours to find, close and keep each client.
- Start with one business you know and one problem (missed calls or slow follow-up), and charge only after it works.
- Ignore any income claim that won't name the business.
GPT-6 Astra is real; the CEO quote is overlay text, and the $50-70K/mo story has no proof. Funnel for a DM blueprint.
