PARTLY

Partly true: Hugging Face disabled one abliterated GLM-5.3 upload and PewDiePie did say OpenAI banned him twice, but GLM-5.3 is not 'banned on every account', Anthropic's post does not call for bans, and the 'comment CRACK' hook pushes a policy-violating 753B model

Facebook · Oct 2026

The claim'They are now banning GLM 5.3 on Hugging Face on every single account.' PewDiePie 'got banned from OpenAI by trying to use OpenAI models to train his own' local model (Ajax) and 'spent weeks' on it. 'Anthropic files IPO and then immediately dropped a blog post trying to ban obliterated models,' claiming local LLMs will increase cyber attacks, and 'they're worried about GLM 5.3.' Caption adds that Anthropic found GLM-5.3 'approached Claude Mythos Preview's exploit-development results.' 'GLM got banned so make sure you get your hands on it. Comment CRACK and I'll send it over. Pirate Face has all cracked models.'

Three real news items, each bent. First, Hugging Face did disable one listing: audnai/penclaw-GLM-5.3-abliterated-for-offensive-cyber now shows 'Access to this model has been disabled. This content infringes our Content Policy.' But the same uploader's base abliterated version is still up (gated, 268 likes, 1,238 downloads last month), and the official zai-org/GLM-5.3 is live with 1.4 million downloads in the past month. 'Banned on every single account' is false; one offensive-cyber variant was pulled. Second, PewDiePie's story is real as reported: on October 2 Tom's Hardware and others covered his 'Ajax' local model and his statement that OpenAI banned him twice over distillation. That is his account; OpenAI's terms do prohibit using outputs to train competing models. Third, Anthropic's IPO prospectus was reported as leaked on September 29, the same day its Frontier Red Team published 'GLM-5.3 and the spread of advanced cyber capabilities,' so the timing jab is fair. But the post does not 'try to ban' anything. It reports GLM-5.3 at 12% on ExploitBench versus Claude Mythos Preview at 14%, says a 'meaningful threshold has clearly been crossed,' and asks governments to safety-test capable models and developers to add safeguards, while arguing defenders should get broader access. The caption gets this right; the voiceover does not. The sell is 'comment CRACK' for a DM link to a 753-billion-parameter abliterated model that almost nobody can run at home and that one platform already removed for policy violations. 'Cracked' is the wrong word too: GLM-5.3 is open-weight under Z.ai's license; abliteration edits the weights to strip refusals.

What holds up

  • Reel read frame by frame: X posts from @thepirateface ('one day after this Hugging Face banned model went live on Pirate Face: audnai/penc1aw-GLM-5.3-abliterated-for-offensive-cyber'), @0x0Sojal and @Hesamation on PewDiePie's OpenAI bans, and @elder_plinius on Anthropic's IPO and blog post, plus a screenshot of Anthropic's 'What does this mean?' section; on-screen 'Comment crack I'll send'.
  • huggingface.co fetched Oct 2: audnai/penclaw-GLM-5.3-abliterated-for-offensive-cyber returns 'Access to this model has been disabled. This content infringes our Content Policy'; audnai/penclaw-GLM-5.3-abliterated is still available (gated, 268 likes, 1,238 downloads last month, 753B parameters, BF16); zai-org/GLM-5.3 is live with 1,413,372 downloads last month under the glm-5.3 license.
  • anthropic.com/research fetched: 'GLM-5.3 and the spread of advanced cyber capabilities' (Frontier Red Team, Sep 29, 2026) reports ExploitBench 12% (GLM-5.3) vs 14% (Claude Mythos Preview) and internal binary exploitation 4% vs 6%; it calls for government safety testing and developer safeguards and for 'expanding access to advanced frontier models' to defenders; it does not call for removing open-weight or abliterated models.
  • News feed Sep 29 to Oct 3: Reuters, Bloomberg, CNBC and Gizmodo reported a leaked Anthropic IPO prospectus (Sep 29); Tom's Hardware and others (Oct 2) reported PewDiePie's Ajax model and his claim that OpenAI banned him twice over distillation.
  • The sell is a comment-for-DM hook ('CRACK') to a mirror of a model removed for policy violations; 'Pirate Face' is an X account claiming decentralized mirrors, not verified further.

What doesn’t

  • 'Banned on every account' is false; one offensive-cyber variant was disabled, the base abliterated upload and the official model are up.
  • Anthropic's post asks for safety testing and safeguards; it does not propose banning local or abliterated models.
  • The DM hook distributes a 753B model that one platform removed for content-policy violations; running it needs server-class hardware.
  • 'Cracked' misdescribes an open-weight model with its refusals edited out.

The catch

Everything in the reel started as a real story and ended as a recruitment pitch for a model mirror. If you care about open-weight AI, download the official GLM-5.3 from Z.ai's own Hugging Face page under its license, read Anthropic's post yourself (it is short), and do not trade your DM for a 'crack' you cannot run.

How to actually do it

  • Read Anthropic's Sep 29 Frontier Red Team post on GLM-5.3 directly; note what it asks for (testing, safeguards, defender access) versus what the reel says it asks for.
  • If you want to run GLM-5.3 locally, use zai-org/GLM-5.3 on Hugging Face under its license and check the hardware requirements first; a 753B model is a multi-GPU server job, not a laptop one.
  • Treat 'comment CRACK' mirrors as what they are: unvetted weights from an account whose upload was already removed; if you need an uncensored model for authorized red-team work, use a documented, licensed one and keep a paper trail.

The three underlying events (one Hugging Face takedown, PewDiePie's OpenAI bans, Anthropic's GLM-5.3 cyber post the day its IPO prospectus leaked) are real and dated within the past week. The reel inflates one takedown into a platform-wide ban and a safeguards post into a ban campaign, then sells a DM link to the removed model.
