PARTLY
Partly true: the Higgsfield MCP connector really lets Claude call 30-plus image and video models, but 'unlimited AI videos for free' is a 24-hour new-user trial on a credit-metered subscription, pushed by a creator-program affiliate
The claim'Claude can now generate unlimited AI videos for free.' Copy the Higgsfield connector link, add it in Claude's connector settings, and 'Claude has access to more than 30 of the biggest image and video generation models': Seedance, Kling, Veo, Sora, and more. Tell Claude 'create a cinematic product commercial for this energy drink'; it writes the prompt, picks the model, generates the video. Use it for product ads, UGC videos, brand campaigns, real estate walkthroughs, faceless content, 'hundreds of ad variations from one product.' 'Every generation costs $0. It's entirely free for the next 24 hours.' Caption: 'Activate Higgsfield now and use the best image and video models for 24 hours at $0. After subscribing, you'll also receive 7 extra days of unlimited generations. Only available for new users.' 'Comment AI and I'll send you the exact setup.'
The plumbing is real. Higgsfield publishes an MCP server at mcp.higgsfield.ai/mcp that plugs into Claude as a custom connector (and into ChatGPT, Cursor and Claude Code), advertised as '30+ models for image and video generation, no API key required.' Claude's Customize, Connectors screen in the reel is the real feature. The energy-drink spots shown are the kind of output you get from Kling 3.0 Turbo and Seedance through that pipe, and the reel even catches a 'Could not attach to MCP server' error, which is honest. The money claim is not. 'Unlimited videos for free' means: new Higgsfield accounts get 24 hours at $0, then you subscribe, then you get seven more 'unlimited' days. That is a trial for a paid, credit-metered plan, and the fine print is in the poster's own caption. 'Unlimited' on Higgsfield applies to specific models flagged in the picker (Kling and Gemini Omni Flash carry the badge in the reel; Sora 2 does not), and press coverage from August 2026 reported users on 'unlimited' Seedance plans waiting hours or days in queues. Claude itself generates nothing here; it relays prompts to Higgsfield's hosted models, and your Claude plan and Higgsfield plan are two separate bills. The 'comment AI' hook funnels you into a DM with a creator-program link, which is how the poster gets paid. Good tool, misleading price.
What holds up
- Reel read frame by frame: 'Higgsfield MCP for any AI' setup page with the connector URL https://mcp.higgsfield.ai/mcp, Claude's Customize, Connectors screen, a model picker with Kling and Gemini Omni Flash tagged UNLIMITED and OpenAI Sora 2 untagged, a 'Could not attach to MCP server fetch' error, Kling 3.0 Turbo generations, and a grid of energy-drink variations.
- higgsfield.ai/mcp fetched Oct 2: 'add the custom connector using the URL https://mcp.higgsfield.ai/mcp', works with 'Claude, OpenClaw, Hermes Agent, NemoClaw, or any MCP-compatible client', '30+ models for image and video generation, no API key required'; no pricing on the page. higgsfield.ai home page lists Seedance 2.5, Sora 2, Kling 3.0, Veo 3.1 and 'Higgsfield MCP for Claude'.
- The poster's own caption states the real terms: 24 hours at $0 for new users, then 'after subscribing' 7 extra days of unlimited generations; i.e., a trial on a paid plan, and the reel is tagged #HiggsfieldCreator (creator/affiliate program).
- News feed Aug 2026 (WION, Trak.in): Higgsfield's 'unlimited' Seedance 2.5 offers were time-boxed and users reported day-long queues; Higgsfield otherwise meters by credits.
- The sell is the comment-for-DM hook carrying a creator-program signup link.
What doesn’t
- 'Unlimited for free' is a 24-hour new-user trial; the rest requires a subscription and credits.
- 'Unlimited' applies only to badge-marked models and has a documented history of queue throttling.
- Claude generates no video; it relays to Higgsfield, so you carry two subscriptions.
- Affiliate reel with a comment-for-link funnel; the setup is on Higgsfield's public page.
The catch
If you want Claude to drive a multi-model video studio, the Higgsfield connector is a legitimate way to do it. Just read the caption's own fine print: it is a 24-hour taste of a paid plan, 'unlimited' is model-specific and queue-dependent, and the ad spots in the reel took credits, taste and retries.
How to actually do it
- Add the connector yourself from higgsfield.ai/mcp (no DM needed), sign in with a Higgsfield account, and run two or three test generations inside the free 24 hours on the models you actually need.
- Before subscribing, check the current plan page for which models carry the unlimited badge and what Sora 2 and Veo cost in credits; price a real campaign (say 30 variations) in credits, not in 'unlimited'.
- Keep Claude as the prompt-and-brief layer: have it write the shot list and brand rules once, then generate variations in batches and cull hard; most of the grid in the reel would never ship.
The Higgsfield MCP for Claude is real and does route 30-plus models through a chat. The 'unlimited and free' headline collapses to a 24-hour trial plus a paid subscription with model-specific limits, which the poster's own caption admits.
