PARTLY Partly true: the free Claude skill that 'replaces Higgsfield' with Kie.ai is real, but the math is cherry-picked, Kie is a 2.2-star reseller, and the workflow ends at the presenter's own $29-plus a month product Facebook · Sep 2026

The claim24-second reel, ~62K views, sent Sun Sep 6, 2026: 'This 1 Claude skill fully replaces your Higgsfield subscription.' Kie.ai's pay-as-you-go API plus a Claude skill makes 'the same viral AI videos' for about $0.75 each with no monthly bill, 'sooo much more affordable.' On screen: a table reading '$1 gets you 1 finished 10-second clip at 1080p' vs 'Nothing. There is no $1 plan,' '5 clips: $3.75' vs 'Higgsfield $15 a month at 720p and 8 seconds,' credits 'carry over forever' vs 'reset to zero every month,' and a faceless TikTok channel shown as proof (260.5K followers). Comment 'LAVENDER' for the tutorial.

What is real: Claude Skills exist (Anthropic, Oct 2025). The skill is real and free; it is the 'generate' skill in the Blotato-Inc/blotato-skills GitHub repo (154 stars), which drafts a still, animates it through Kie.ai, then 'hands off to Blotato.' Kie.ai is real: NexusAI Services LLC, a Colorado LLC formed May 2024, reselling third-party models (Veo, Kling, Seedance, Sora, Runway) at $0.005 a credit with a $5 minimum top-up and credits that do not expire. Her Aug 19, 2026 Substack post lays out the five steps and the roughly $0.75 per 10-second 1080p figure, which is in range for Kie's Seedance and Kling-standard pricing ($0.057 to $0.07 a second). What is not: 'Same videos' is a stretch. Higgsfield's Plus and Ultra tiers bundle 'unlimited' Seedance 2.0 and Kling 3.0 in the web app plus studio exclusives Kie does not carry. 'Sooo much more affordable' only holds at low or irregular volume: her own company's blog admits that at matched 1080p Seedance 2.0, Kie runs 'roughly two to four times the per-clip cost' of a fully used Higgsfield Plus plan. The $1-vs-$15 table is rhetoric: there is no $1 Kie top-up (minimum $5), and Higgsfield's entry plan has flipped between $9, $15 and $19 at least three times in 2026, so '720p, 8 seconds' is one snapshot. The undisclosed part: Blotato is her company. Every link in the tutorial carries a Blotato ref tag, the skill's last step is Blotato ($29 to $499 a month), and Blotato pays affiliates 50 percent of a first payment. No Kie.ai affiliate program was found, and no Higgsfield affiliate link is in play, so the steer is toward her product, not a commission. Kie's Trustpilot sits at 2.2 of 5 with complaints of credits eaten by failed generations. Honest route: pay Kie directly if you post a few clips a month; go Higgsfield Plus if you post daily; skip the Blotato step unless you already need a scheduler.

What holds up

  • sabrina.dev 'This 1 Claude skill fully replaces...' (Aug 19, 2026): 5 steps: Kie API key and credits, install the 'generate' skill in Claude Code, draft image then animate with Seedance, connect Blotato to publish, warm up accounts. Quotes ~$0.75 per 10s 1080p video vs Higgsfield '$15 to $129/month.' Blotato links carry a ref tag; credits RoboNuggets' guide as origin.
  • github.com/Blotato-Inc/blotato-skills (Sep 6, 2026): 8 skills including 'generate': 'drafts a still, checks quality and budget, animates through kie.ai, then hands off to Blotato.' 154 stars, 33 forks, owned by Blotato-Inc.
  • Kie.ai ownership (aisofting.com review Jul 22, 2026; ai.miraheze.org): operated by NexusAI Services LLC, Colorado, formed May 29, 2024; prepaid wallet from $5; credits don't expire; reseller model 'without official partnerships with most providers'; Midjourney forced its removal from the platform.
  • trustpilot.com/review/kie.ai (Sep 6, 2026): 2.2/5 from 13 reviews, 85% one-star: credits consumed on failed generations, tasks stuck at 'generating,' Sora API outages, support silence. Praise: '$5 for 1000 credits... cheaper than most.'
  • bitdoze.com Kie.ai pricing (Aug 3, 2026): 1 credit = $0.005; Veo 3.1 Fast ~$0.30 to 0.40 per 8s; Kling 3.0 standard $0.07/sec; Seedance 2.0 ~$0.057/sec, so a 10s clip = $0.57 to $0.70; her $0.75 figure is in range.
  • blotato.com/blog/higgsfield-alternatives (her own company's blog, 2026): 'At matched 1080p quality, KIE runs roughly two to four times the per-clip cost' of a fully used Higgsfield Plus ($59 / 1,200 credits, about $1.11 a clip); Kie only wins 'if publishing is irregular since nothing expires monthly.'
  • Higgsfield pricing, three 2026 snapshots: May 6: Starter $15/200 credits; June (higgsfield.ai/blog): Starter $9/120 credits, Seedance 2.0 720p 8s = 36 credits; Sep 6: Starter $19/270, Plus $59/1,200, Ultra $129/3,000. All agree subscription credits do not roll over; no pure pay-as-you-go. higgsfield.ai 'All Unlimited' (updated Aug 28, 2026): Plus and up include unlimited Seedance 2.0 / Kling 3.0 in the web app, 1 concurrent generation, throttled at peak.
  • Affiliate check (Sep 6, 2026): higgsfield.ai affiliate program = up to 25% for 12 months (she steers away from it); Kie.ai: no affiliate program found (kie.ai/affiliate 404); help.blotato.com/settings/affiliates: Blotato pays 50% of first payment, NET-15; blotato.com/about lists her as founder; plans $29 Starter / $97 Creator / $499 Agency per month.

What doesn’t

  • The 'free skill' ends in a paid product she owns: step 4 is 'connect Blotato' and the repo is Blotato-Inc's. The reel never says she is the founder.
  • The on-screen '$1 gets you a clip' vs 'Nothing' table is rhetoric: Kie's minimum top-up is $5, and Higgsfield's cheapest plan has been $9, $15 and $19 at different points in 2026.
  • Her own company's blog says Kie costs 2 to 4 times more per clip than a fully used Higgsfield Plus plan at matched 1080p, the opposite of 'sooo much more affordable' for anyone posting daily.
  • Kie.ai is a two-year-old Colorado LLC reselling models it mostly has no official partnership with; Trustpilot 2.2/5, credits eaten on failed jobs, one provider already forced it off.

The catch

For a small business that posts a few clips a month, Kie plus the free skill is genuinely cheaper, but you are now running an API key, a Claude Code install and a reseller with a 2.2 Trustpilot score, and the workflow quietly ends at a $29 to $97 a month Blotato plan. Post daily and Higgsfield's bundled credits win on price.

How to actually do it

  • Count your real monthly volume first: under about 15 clips a month, pay-as-you-go (Kie, or fal.ai / direct model APIs) wins; 40-plus clips a month at 1080p, a Higgsfield Plus plan is cheaper per clip.
  • If you try Kie, load the $5 minimum, test one Seedance or Kling 10s clip, and download outputs immediately (URLs expire in about 24 hours); never park a large balance with a reseller.
  • Install the skill from github.com/Blotato-Inc/blotato-skills yourself; you do not need to comment LAVENDER, and the tutorial is the free Aug 19 Substack post.
  • Skip step 4 (Blotato) unless you already need a scheduler; post the clip manually or through the scheduler you already pay for.
  • Treat 'viral' as a format bet, not a tool feature: the models are identical on both platforms; the prompts and the account warm-up do the work.

You can produce a 10-second 1080p AI clip for about $0.60 to $0.75 through Kie with a free Claude skill, but 'replacing Higgsfield' only saves money at low volume, and the funnel ends at her own $29-plus a month product.
