PARTLY
Partly true: Claude Cowork really can open sites, read page source and draft schema and title fixes, but five prompts do not replace an SEO agency, and the post is a comment-START funnel for an AI-agency 'blueprint'
The claimOn-screen: 'CLAUDE COWORK just unlocked Full Stack SEO Execution. Here are 5 prompts that replace a 10k/month agency.' Caption: open Claude, click into Cowork, allow browser access, then run five prompts: find competitor topics you miss, list 20 ready-to-buy local keywords, read your page source and write missing schema, find missing or duplicate title tags and meta descriptions, and compare your Google Business Profile to your top three competitors. Then: 'that's the business I built, and it now cash flows 50-70K a month... comment START and I'll send you the blueprint for free.'
The tool part is real. Claude Cowork is a paid-plan mode in the Claude desktop app, and since late August 2026 it has a built-in browser on Pro, Max, Ultra and Team plans (Enterprise admins switch it on). It can open your site and competitor sites, read what is on the page, view source, and write JSON-LD schema and new title tags. All five prompts are sensible starting points, and prompts 3 and 4 in particular are classic, worthwhile fixes. The oversell is everything around them. 'Check every page' only works on small sites; an agent clicking through pages is slow next to a crawler like Screaming Frog, which is free up to 500 URLs. Prompt 2 returns keyword guesses with no search volume, so you still need Keyword Planner or Search Console. Prompt 5 only sees the public half of a competitor's Business Profile; secondary categories, for example, are not shown publicly. None of it does the parts agencies are paid for: building links, writing and publishing the content, fixing the site, and tracking results month after month. The '10k a month agency' line and the '50-70K a month' income claim have no evidence. The real product here is the comment-START funnel for an 'AI agency' blueprint, the usual top of a paid coaching pitch.
What holds up
- Caption and 16-frame contact sheet read; the video is a static text card over airplane-window footage with no demo of any prompt running.
- Anthropic's Aug 26, 2026 article confirms Cowork's built-in browser on Pro, Max, Ultra and Team in the desktop app; Cowork is paid-plan only.
- Screaming Frog's pricing page confirms the free SEO Spider crawls up to 500 URLs, the standard tool for prompt 4's job.
- SEO guides agree Google shows only a competitor's primary category publicly; secondary categories need extensions or source digging.
- Searched for the '50-70K a month' business claim; nothing independent backs it.
What doesn’t
- Comment-START funnel for a free 'blueprint' that fronts an AI-agency coaching pitch.
- 'Replace a 10k/month agency' is unsupported; prompts produce a to-do list, not executed SEO.
- Income claim of 50-70K a month is unverified.
- Keyword prompt returns guesses with no volume data.
The catch
The prompts are a good free audit, but an audit is the cheap part of SEO. Someone still has to implement the fixes, publish content, earn links and track rankings, and the reel uses the audit to sell you on starting an agency, not on running one.
How to actually do it
- In Claude Cowork (paid plan, desktop app), run prompts 3 and 4 on your own site, then paste the generated schema and titles into your CMS and validate schema with Google's Rich Results Test.
- For more than a few dozen pages, crawl with Screaming Frog free (500 URLs) and hand the export to Claude to prioritize fixes.
- Check Claude's keyword list against Google Keyword Planner or your Search Console queries before writing anything.
- Compare Business Profiles by hand in Google Maps (photos, hours, services, reviews, posts) and fill every gap on yours.
Worth doing as a free self-audit in an afternoon. Treat the agency-replacement and income lines as the sales pitch they are and skip the comment-for-blueprint funnel.
