PARTLY

Partly true: the 59 to 30K Instagram sprint has receipts on the seller's own page, but Claude was not the engine, the 7 prompts are generic, and the reel is a funnel for a $79.99 guide

Facebook · Oct 2026

The claimOn-screen: 'My name is [creator]. 25 days ago I had only 59 followers. I trained Claude to create my content and grew to 30k.' Caption: on Aug 24 the account had 59 followers and crossed 30,000 25 days later; 'Claude didn't magically grow my account, but AI helped me create, test, and improve content faster.' Seven prompts follow (Reel ideas, pain to hooks, write the Reel, improve the hook, save-worthy caption, repurpose, learn from results). Comment '30K' for a free AI Instagram setup guide; paid 'The 25-Day Reset' guide via link in bio with a launch code that expired Sept 27, 2026.

The growth may well be real, but the reel credits the wrong thing. The on-screen line says 'I trained Claude to create my content and grew to 30k.' The caption walks that back in its own words: Claude 'didn't magically grow my account' and AI 'wasn't the whole strategy.' What the caption lists as the real drivers is volume and testing: 27 quiet warm-up days, 55 Reels in the 25-day sprint, consistent posting, hook and B-roll testing, and tracking saves and shares. The paid product behind the link, a $79.99 PDF called The 25-Day Reset, describes the same sprint and does not mention Claude at all. Its sales page shows Instagram Insights screenshots (about 40,000 followers, 9.4 million views in 30 days), which is more evidence than most of these reels offer, though seller screenshots are not independent proof. The seven prompts are fine and generic: ideas, pain-point hooks under 10 words, a script, a caption, repurposing into a Reel plus a 5-slide carousel, and a results review. A near-identical list with the same structure ran under a different creator's reel using the exact same on-screen sentence (x-ref #552). That sentence is a reel trend format, not a method. The comment '30K' hook feeds a DM funnel, and the caption's launch code expired Sept 27, so this is a recycled September reel. Fair takeaway: AI can speed up drafting; the 30K came from posting 55 Reels and doubling down on winners.

What holds up

  • Read the full caption and viewed the contact sheet; the video is one walking selfie shot with a fixed text overlay and music, no spoken method.
  • Read the seller's Stan Store page for The 25-Day Reset: $79.99 PDF, claims 59 to 30,000+ in 25 days and 40,000 by day 40, shows Insights screenshots, and never mentions Claude.
  • Compared the 7 prompts to the 7 prompts in x-ref #552: same skeleton (ideas, pain to hook under 10 words, script, caption or CTA, repurpose into a Reel plus 5-slide carousel) and the same on-screen sentence template.
  • Checked Meta's AI labeling policy (about.fb.com, April 2024): labels cover image, video and audio, not AI-written captions, and the label is not described as cutting reach. Instagram's April 30, 2026 originality update (TechCrunch, Tubefilter) cuts recommendations for accounts that mainly repost others' work.

What doesn’t

  • On-screen text credits Claude; the caption and the paid guide credit 55 Reels of volume and testing.
  • Comment '30K' gate feeds a DM funnel to a $79.99 guide.
  • Expired Sept 27 launch code means this is a recycled reel, and the '25 days ago' clock is stale.
  • Follower counts rest on the seller's own screenshots; no independent check.

The catch

The headline says Claude grew the account, but the seller's own caption and $79.99 guide say the growth came from posting 55 Reels in 25 days and testing hooks. The prompts are a free sample of a generic template that other creators post with the same structure.

How to actually do it

  • Paste the 7 caption prompts into Claude or ChatGPT with your real audience and topic; they are free and that is all they are.
  • Commit to a volume sprint you can sustain (the seller's was 55 Reels in 25 days) and film it yourself; Instagram favors original content in recommendations.
  • Each week, review saves, shares and watch time in Insights and make more of the top three performers.
  • Skip the paid guide unless you specifically want one person's case study; the method is in the caption.

This is one of the more honest growth reels, because its fine print admits AI was not the strategy. The outcome it sells comes from posting volume and testing, which anyone can do without buying a guide.
