BS
Straight BS: a wall of phones running 'Bot Agent VDO Farm' for Shopee and TikTok is not a way for one person to make money out of thin air; it is a fake-engagement rig that breaks both platforms' rules, sold as a course
The claim'Bot Agent VDO Farm Shopee & TikTok': a room of racked phones and dashboards running a video bot farm. Caption (Thai): a one-day hands-on 'Bot Farm VDO Automation' course in Bangkok on Saturday Aug 1, 2026 (BE 2569), 'do it alone, make money out of thin air', 'taught to use the system correctly', suited to affiliate and content-farm people, a 'new toy for scalers', comment 'interested' to get details.
The hardware is real. The contact sheet shows dozens of phones on racks, USB hubs, a gaming PC and big monitors tiled with phone screens, which is a standard phone farm: one computer drives many handsets, each logged into its own Shopee or TikTok account, posting short videos and generating views or clicks for affiliate links. What is not real is the promise. 'Make money out of thin air' ignores that the money comes from affiliate commissions that the platforms pay only for genuine buyers, and that both platforms police exactly this pattern. TikTok's Terms of Service forbid using automated scripts to interact with the service and creating false identities; Shopee's affiliate program listings bar bot or software-generated traffic and say commissions get scrubbed and publishers banned. Many accounts on one rig, driven by scripts, is the fingerprint those systems look for. 'Taught to use the system correctly' cannot fix that; the system itself is the violation. The reel also shows no earnings, no payout screens, no account ages. What is being sold is a paid one-day class in Bangkok (the Aug 1, 2026 date has already passed), with the 'free in class' bot as the bait and a comment-'interested' hook to collect leads. The person who reliably makes money here is the one selling the course and the rig.
What holds up
- Reel viewed frame by frame (4x4 contact sheet): racked Android phones on USB hubs, a PC tower, a curved monitor and a large display mirroring dozens of phone screens with Shopee and TikTok style video feeds; overlay text 'Bot Agent VDO Farm Shopee&Tiktok'. The audio is a music track only, and no earnings are shown.
- Caption read in Thai: one-day hands-on course, Saturday 1 August 2569 (Aug 1, 2026) in Bangkok, 'do it alone, make money out of thin air', for affiliate and content-farm people, comment 'interested' for details. The class date is already past as of Oct 12, 2026.
- TikTok Terms of Service (fetched Oct 12, 2026), section 5: users may not 'use automated scripts to collect information from or otherwise interact with the Services' or create a false identity. TikTok's separate fake-engagement guideline page did not load for us, so that wording is not quoted.
- Shopee affiliate program listings on affiliate networks (Cuelinks, Involve Asia) state no bot or software-generated traffic of any kind, with bans and commission scrub-backs; we could not load Shopee's own affiliate terms page, so confidence is Medium, not High.
- Same family as the phone-farm engagement rigs graded before (x-ref #243).
What doesn’t
- Selling a course: comment-'interested' hook to a DM funnel for a paid Bangkok class, with the bot handed out 'free' to attendees.
- 'Make money out of thin air' with zero income evidence; affiliate commissions require real buyers, and bot traffic gets clawed back.
- The method itself (many scripted accounts on one rig) violates platform rules, so 'use the system correctly' is a contradiction.
The catch
A phone farm can push volume, but volume of fake or scripted activity is exactly what Shopee and TikTok detect and refuse to pay for. Expect banned accounts, scrubbed commissions and a sunk cost in phones, SIMs and course fees, not passive income.
How to actually do it
- Run one or two real accounts you personally own on Shopee Affiliate and TikTok Shop affiliate, and read each program's current terms in your own country's help centre before you start.
- Use AI for the honest part of the work: scripting, editing and captioning short product videos you actually filmed or tested, and use the platforms' own scheduling tools instead of device-farm automation.
- Track real clicks to orders in the affiliate dashboard for 30 days and double down only on the products and formats that convert with real buyers.
The rig in the reel is real hardware, but the pitch that it makes one person money out of thin air is not supported and the method breaks TikTok's automation rule and Shopee's no-bot-traffic affiliate rule. The reel advertises a paid course whose date has already passed.
