PARTLY
Partly true: having ChatGPT or Claude interview you one question at a time before writing a blog post is a genuinely good way to get original content, but 'more likely to rank than anything you write yourself' is a promise no prompt can keep
The claimGo to findquestions.com, type what you sell, pick a real customer question, then prompt ChatGPT or Claude to interview you with up to 10 questions one at a time by voice before writing the post. 'This will give you a piece of content that is more likely to rank than anything you're going to write yourself.'
The technique is good advice. Starting from questions real customers ask, then letting the AI interview you so the post carries your own experience, examples and opinions, produces far more original content than a cold 'write me a blog post' prompt. That lines up with Google's published guidance, which rewards helpful, people-first content that shows first-hand experience. Voice mode makes the interview quick. Where the reel overreaches is the closing promise. No method guarantees a page ranks; ranking also depends on the site's authority, its links, the competition for the query and its technical health, none of which a prompt touches. 'More likely to rank than anything you write yourself' is also odd, since the post is built from your own answers. The best version of this is a writing aid for your own knowledge, not a ranking shortcut. This is the third HeyTony reel in the audit, and like the others it pairs a useful tactic with an outcome bigger than the tactic can deliver.
What holds up
- Reel transcribed in full; the prompt is spoken on screen.
- Compared with Google Search Central guidance on helpful, people-first content and first-hand experience.
- x-ref #268 and #320 (earlier HeyTony reels).
What doesn’t
- A ranking promise no prompt can guarantee.
- Question-finder sites are a starting point, not keyword research.
- Third sighting of this page in the audit.
The catch
The interview prompt makes better posts. It cannot promise rankings.
How to actually do it
- Gather real customer questions from your inbox, calls and reviews, not only a question-finder site.
- Use the interview prompt, answer by voice, then edit the draft yourself for accuracy.
- Publish, add internal links, and check Search Console after a few weeks to see what earns impressions.
A solid content workflow; the ranking promise is the oversell.
- Confidence
- Medium
