PARTLY
Partly true: software can spin up lots of AI influencer accounts, but 'goes viral consistently' at 23-cent CPMs is an unproven sales pitch, and platforms are moving against it
The claimWe built an AI influencer farm. One button creates accounts on all social platforms and thousands of AI influencers that go viral consistently and promote your products, at CPMs as low as 23 cents.
Generating AI personas and posting from them at volume is technically possible, so the basic idea isn't fantasy. The results are another matter. The 30-second ad shows no campaign data, names no client, and leads to a sales call, so 'viral consistently' and '23-cent CPMs' are claims we can't check. The ad also leaves out the biggest risk. Instagram announced around the start of September 2026 that accounts presenting an AI-generated person must carry an 'AI-generated profile' label or lose reach in Reels, Explore and recommendations. That goes straight at this model. And if those personas appear to be real customers, the FTC's rule on fake reviews and testimonials, in force since October 2024, is a real exposure for the brand paying for them. We didn't see the software and we name no one here.
What holds up
- We read the full transcript and caption; there's no data, no named client and a book-a-call close
- Engadget, Digital Trends and TechRepublic report Instagram's AI-generated profile label and reach limits
- The FTC's rule on fake reviews and testimonials (16 CFR Part 465) took effect in October 2024; we read a secondary summary, not a legal opinion
- We did not see the software or any client results
- Our search didn't surface TikTok's rules on this, so we make no claim about them
What doesn’t
- The 23-cent CPM has no proof, and CPM isn't sales
- Instagram limits reach for AI personas that skip the label
- A fake person endorsing a product can create legal risk for the brand
- Mass-created accounts can run into platform rules and lose your 'owned' traffic overnight
The catch
You'd be paying to build traffic on rented accounts that platforms are actively demoting. Cheap views from fake people aren't the same as customers.
How to actually do it
- Ask for client references and sales results, not CPMs
- Ask how every account is labeled, and what happens when accounts get banned
- Have an attorney review any AI persona that endorses your product
- Test with clearly labeled AI content or real customers first
Don't sign without real client numbers and written answers on labeling, account bans and legal risk. Ask your attorney about endorsements.
- Effort
- A short vetting call, plus an attorney review
- Cost
- Not published in the ad; you find out on the sales call
- Stack
- Unknown; the ad doesn't show the software
- Confidence
- Low
