This is the previous entry’s template run again 24 hours later with the nouns swapped: “18-year-old / Microsoft / $2.4M” became “they / Anthropic / $100k,” the three timestamps moved, and the quote-tweeted article underneath — the account’s own “Grok Bot + Kimi K3, $100k/month” piece — stayed identical. Anthropic does not buy agents from strangers; its 2026 deals are companies (Vercept in February, Fractional AI and Stainless in May, and reported talks to acquire Decart for about $6B in August). The “$100k” number most plausibly leaks from coverage of Anthropic’s own experiment letting Claude run a small shop. The “one agent replaces an engineering team worth $200k a year” line recycles the exact figure from the day before, and the “$1.2M a year” figure is the account’s house number — a reply under the post: “funny how the math always lands on exactly 1.2m no matter the video.” The video itself is a lecture, not a deal announcement. Replies asking “what’s the actual deliverable they paid for?” never get an answer, because there isn’t one.
What holds up
- Building a simple agent in 20 minutes with Claude Code is real — Anthropic’s own free courses teach exactly that
- The underlying footage is a genuine Stanford agents lecture (CS329A, on the Stanford Online channel since Aug 3), which is worth watching on its own
- The account’s own audience flagged it: “No they didn’t,” “Algo bullshit,” and “Selling that same agent to Anthropic for $100k is a different product”
What doesn’t
- No record of Anthropic paying $100k for anyone’s 20-minute agent — its 2026 acquisitions are companies (Vercept, Fractional AI, Stainless, and $6B Decart talks)
- “Replaced 10 Anthropic engineers and they paid $100k and asked for more” is a fabricated personal testimonial — same as the previous day’s “in the App Store in 60 minutes”
- The three timestamps and titles are invented; the identical “$200k a year” and “$1.2M a year” figures appear across the account’s unrelated posts
The catch
A fake deal every day pointing at the same self-promo article — when the buyer changes but the dollar figures don’t, you’re looking at a template.

- Before you save a “Stanford showed how” post, click the quoted article: if it’s the poster’s own paywalled guide, that’s the whole business model
No $100k Anthropic deal, no 10 replaced engineers — the same template as the day before with the buyer’s name swapped.
