Nanobrowser is a real open-source Chrome extension (~13.6k stars) that works with Claude models and honestly bills itself a free alternative to OpenAI Operator. Two honest cautions instead of a debunk: “clicking through paywalls” is the one use-case on these slides that isn't a feature, it's a terms-of-service violation wearing a demo — the tool automates a browser, it doesn't make paid content free. - Scrapling + Claude Code is a legitimate pattern for reading public data your business needs — competitor pricing pages, your own reviews across platforms
- Run browser agents in a separate Chrome profile with no saved logins until you've watched them work for a week
- If content is paywalled, pay the wall. The subscription is cheaper than being the case study in someone's ToS-enforcement blog post
